Project Engineer/Estimator
We
seek an experienced cost estimator with responsibility for the
review of customer designs for manufacturing feasibility and the
accurate cost estimating of manufacturing costs for sales
quotation, including, but not limited to:
- Contact various vendors to quote piece prices for raw
materials and processing.
- Review pricing determination with supervisor for prototyping
and formal quotation to customer.
- Review and compare submitted customer drawings to archived
drawings for revisions or errors.
- Review engineering design prints to determine if changes are
necessary to meet international standards.
- Maintain engineering estimating computer system and update as
needed.
- Estimate pricing changes for customer design alterations.
Qualified applicants will possess:
- Broad knowledge of a discipline, such as mechanical
engineering, in a combination of experience, education and
training equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of four experience in a metal stamping manufacturer
setting.
- Knowledge of the stamping and/or spring manufacturing
processes required.
- An understanding of the automotive industry a plus.
Quality Assurance Department
Quality Engineer
We
seek an experienced Quality professional to provide technical
support to assigned production areas to ensure company products
meet established quality standards. The incumbent will perform
quality assurance activities to ensure part that quality
standards are controlled throughout the manufacturing process in
accordance with customer specifications. Incumbent works from
operator instruction/inspection sheets, customer prints and
specifications, routing cards, shop orders, and statistical
sampling plan. May evaluate manufacturing processes for
compliance to TS 16949 certifications/standards
Qualified applicants
will possess:
- A minimum of 4 years
relevant quality assurance experience in a metal stamping
manufacturing environment. Quality engineer degree or
certification preferred.
- Proficiency in
mathematics together with the analytical use of complicated
customer print and specifications, equivalent to 2 years applied
trades training in a particular or specialized occupation
requiring knowledge of precision inspection methods.
- Use various types of
precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers,
optical comparator, x-y coordinate measuring machines, and
CMM's.
- Demonstrated
knowledge of corrective and preventative action processes,
validation, SPC and PPAP procedures.
- Demonstrated good
judgment to plan and layout inspection methods to check piece
parts and approve new tools for production, along with the
ability to assist and train machines operators to inspect their
own work.
- Capable of routinely
exerting physical effort required to handle parts and
inspections tools which is equivalent to frequently lifting or
moving lightweight material or occasionally, light weights.
- Capable of continuous
mental and visual attention required to inspect parts, involving
repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or
activity.
- Demonstrated safety
record with respect to reasonable care in performing own work.
- Capacity and
willingness to work in an environment with short, but routine,
exposure to noise, dirt, oil, heat and cold, but not the extend
of being disagreeable.
Maintenance Department
Maintenance Mechanic / Electrician
We seek an experienced
mechanic/electrician to perform diverse duties to maintain,
repair and install a variety of production machines, facility
equipment and electrical panels, circuits and PLCs. Work from
work orders, prints, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals,
preventive maintenance records and instructions in the
performance of designated duties.
Qualified applicants
will possess:
-
Six
(6) to ten (10) years of electrical and mechanical experience
working within a manufacturing experience required.
-
Proven safety record and strong work ethic.
-
Able to work 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. established schedule.
Overtime may be required as required day-by-day.
-
Must possess machine and equipment knowledge and skills to
troubleshoot and repair electrical panels, circuits and PLCs.
-
Equally skilled in mechanical repairs and knowledge of stamping
presses and peripheral components along with multi-slides,
spring machines and heat treat ovens, pneumatic and hydraulic
knowledge required.
-
Proven ability to read electrical and mechanical prints. Must
be able to operate a milling machine, lathe and related machine
shop tools and hold required tolerances to complete mechanical
repairs. The ability to perform building maintenance functions
are also required.

Proficient in the use of a variety of machine tools,
precision inspection tools, electrical test meters, hand power
tools, measuring tools, electrical and gas welding equipment and
hand tools.
- Willingness and
ability to work within an environment with exposure to dirt,
oil, grease, noise, heat, fumes, and cold.
- Must be able to lift
50 pounds without assistance.
Production Departments:
Stamping, Coiling, Multi-Slide, Assembly
Punch Press Die Setter: (30 ton to 600 ton progressive
dies)
Seeking
experienced Press Die
Setters to work on progressive dies for 30-600 ton
presses. A minimum of five years experience required to
perform setup and operate automatic punch presses involving the
most complex and difficult setups, to produce parts in
accordance with job specifications and established quality
standards.
Additional training available.
Four-Slide / Multi-Slide Setter: (Bairds, Nilsons, Finzers)
Setup and operate a variety of 4 slide and multi slide presses
to produce parts involving more complex and intricate jobs, in
accordance with customer specifications and working from prints,
setup sheets, routing tags, manufacturing shop orders and
instructions: Successful
applicants will have a minimum of 3 years experience.
Additional training available.
Coiling Setter: (CNC and Mechanical Coiling Machines -
Grinders)
Perform duties to setup and operate a limited range of automatic
spring coiling machines within assigned area of responsibility
and in accordance with job specifications, established quality
standards and production rates. Work from prints, job
cards, job sample, routing tags, manufacturing shop orders and
instructions and use micrometers, dial calipers, load test
equipment, gauge pins, height gauge, comparator, hand pallet
jack and hand tools required. 5 years experience on CNC's
(EN, Itaya, Minyu, etc.) preferred; will train individuals with
demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

Production Cell
Operators: (Various assembly operations)
We are seeking
individuals to work 2nd shift (2:30-10:50 p.m.) with the
opportunity for advancement is available. These are union
positions that offer benefits and a raise after 30-days. There
is a 2nd shift premium on top of the base wage.
Qualified applicants must be able to work in a team environment and move
around to perform multiple tasks in our manufacturing areas
including parts packing, assembly, wash operations, sorting and
other job duties. This is an entry level position and
training is available to any person(s) willing to dedicate
themselves to learning these new skills. Direct experience
in the metal stamping/coiling industry a plus, but not required.
