Metal Parts Contamination Removal & Washing

Perfection Spring & Stamping is the leader in the industry to meet the increasing demand for “Clean” metal components per the ISO-16232:2018 part cleanliness requirement.  Automotive electronics, fuel systems, transmissions, and medical applications are all seeking a new level and expectation of “Clean”.  Whereas in the pasts the parts need to be “Free and Clean” of only oils and solvents, the new expectations are quite different.  The standard calls that the parts are also void of particles, both metallic and non-metallic, and a strict control of the quantity of residual contamination on the components supplied.

Two specific factors now apply, those being “Qualitative Requirements” (Contamination by measuring mg/component through Gravimetric analysis), and “Quantitative Limits” (The measure of quantity, size and type of participles, defined by metallic and non-metallic organics). These standards are becoming the “new norm” demanded by OEMs and the Tier 1’s whom supply parts for sensitive subsystem parts used in automotive electronics, fuel systems, transmissions, etc.

With our custom “Ultra-Clean Washing System”, we exceed the tightest “CCC Code” requirements detailed in the specification.  We can remove metallic and non-metallic particles, test and validate meeting the needs of those customers that required “Ultra-Clean Parts”.
