Production Tooling and Maintenance

Precision tooling services are the heart and soul of the manufacturing process ultimately providing our customers with high-quality precision parts numbering in the millions of pieces annually. Perfection takes great pride in its upfront planning and engineering with our customers so that the tool meets all of the expectations of the design intent. Our engineering and design staff work to ensure our customers get the most cost-competitive tooling, on-time, and on-budget. We have the ability to source tooling progressive dies locally and globally, which in many cases can provide options for reduced lead-time and cost.

It starts with the design.  Perfection controls the design to the tightest tolerances and standards, so you don't have to worry.  The tooling process is monitored with regular contact between our team and yours.    Our process engineers will evaluate the tool throughout the process and into the final trial.  Your first article parts and PPAP (Level 3) will be delivered to meet your tightest production schedules, on-time, and "To print" the first time.

Our tooling capabilities include the design and manufacture of simple progressive dies, from 30-ton to 600-ton, as well as complex progressive dies with automatic feeding and assembly of components.  We also design and manufacture Slide Tooling, whether it be for a wire-form or flat-stock part.  Additional capabilities include in-process checking fixtures, gages, cycle testing fixtures, go/no-go gages, short-run jigs & fixtures, as well as custom assembly tooling for your complex projects.

Perfection includes all general tool maintenance for the parts we produce. At the end of each production run your tool or die is inspected, and all standard tooling maintenance is performed to keep you tool in top shape! We will replace, sharpen, or adjust all perishable tool details, the cost of which is included in the part piece price.
