We have a five-step RFQ process, which includes 1. Evaluation, 2. Engineering, 3. Q&A, 4. Review, and 5. Management review.  On average, the process usually takes about one week to complete.  If you have special circumstances for an "Immediate reply," please let us know, and we will try to meet your needs.

  • Review of part tolerances and feasibility
  • Identify the best match of equipment and tooling.
  • Develop the process flow based upon the part design
  • Estimate rates and costs for each manufacturing step and secondary requirements
  • Can we make cost design suggestions for savings opportunities?
  • Request for a 3D model with each RFQ received.
  • Request for customer specifications not in our library.
  • Clarification of missing or unclear dimensions.
  • Confirmation of annual volume and program life.
  • Ability to substitute or design for cost reduction options.
  • Routing, machine center, and run rates established and verified.
  • Raw material usage and type confirmed.
  • Outside processing operations validated
  • Tooling design and maintenance calculated
  • Purchased components quote reviewed and confirmed
  • Packaging type, weight, quantities, and special consideration determined.
  • Final customer quote, summary, remarks & comments are prepared.
  • The part cost breakdown is completed. (If required)
  • The tooling cost breakdown is completed. (If required)
  • Capacity detail is calculated. (If required)
  • The feasibility sheet is reviewed and completed. (If required)
  • Data converted and entered into Supplier Portal (If required)
  • Data is converted and reentered Customer breakdown forms (If required)
