Round, Square, & Rectangular Extension Springs
Extension Springs are right up our alley with the variety of CNC wire forming machines in our spring coiling department. From simple to complex, we can eliminate costly secondary operations and manufacture high volume extension springs, eliminating labor, for the most demanding designs and tolerances.
Our engineering department can assist you with design and cost-savings ideas, complete cycle testing requirements, and provide options for unique packaging methods to eliminate tangling during transit. We can work with any wire material up to .196" (5mm) thick, in a round, rectangular, and square wire.
From brass to music wire, chrome silicon to stainless steel, we can provide high-quality extension springs for doors, trunks, handles, latches, retractors, grounding, and other custom applications.
We are equipped to best serve order sizes of 50,000 to tens-of-millions of pieces per year, as well as prototype orders to prove out conceptual design feasibility.

Extension Spring Manufacturing Process
Creative design and custom manufacturing have been our primary focus since 1955. We supply the global OEM manufacturers and markets, certified to the highest international quality standards, such as ISO-TS 16949 and ISO 14001 Environmental certification. This video highlights the manufacturing process of a Extension Spring on a CNC wire forming machine.
A world without springs and wireforms? (A 1940 classic video short)
We share with you from art of the collection: Prelinger Archives. Shortly after this movie was made, Perfection Spring & Stamping was founded in 1955. A "Modern" manufacturer of engineered custom Metal Stampings, Springs, Wireforms, Fourslide Components and Mechanical Assemblies.
